Abstract
Uporaba Geografskog Informacijskog Sustava (GIS) u svrhu planiranja uporabe zemljišnih parcela istraživačima je poznata već preko 40 godina, a u svrhu optimizacije gnojidbe poljoprivrednih parcela postala je popularna tijekom ranih 90tih. GIS modeliranje u poljoprivrednoj proizvodnji pomaže u identifikaciji prostorne distribucije promatranog svojstva, te izradom tematskih karata koje su povezane s postojećom bazom podataka nudi vizualan prikaz teksualnih ili brojčanih informacija o određenoj poljoprivrednoj parceli. Spomenuta baza podataka, objedinjuje rezultate kemijske analize tla, prethodne usjeve koji su bili uzgajivani na predmetnoj parceli, prethodne gnojidbene preporuke te podatke o prethodnim aplikacijama gnojiva. Također, baza podataka se prilagođava potrebama modeliranja i cilju istraživanja. Za potrebe GIS modeliranja u održivom izboru usjeva i optimizaciji gnojidbe, obuhvaćene su postojeće baze podataka projekta AGRI-CONTO-CLEEN, sustavi potpore u odlučivanju (DSS), te stručno znanje agronoma prilikom terenskih pregleda. Cilj istraživanja bio je kartografski odrediti potrebe za gnojidbom i kalcizacijom na parcelama Vinogradci i Berak, te na temelju dobivenih rezultata odabrati najpogodnije usjeve za uzgoj na istraživanim parcelama, uzimajući u obzir da se radi o dva različita tipa tla, kiselom i alkalnom. GIS modeliranjem su utvrđene potrebe za kalcizacijom na oba OPGa, gnojidbene preporuke te nužnost organske gnojidbe na oba OPGa ne bi li se troškovi gnojidbe racionalizirali i poboljšala kvaliteta tla, osobito na OPGu Vinogradci. Također, planiranjem usjeva koji je tolerantan na nisku pH reakciju tla, troškovi kalcizacije se snižavaju. GIS modeliranjem u održivom izboru usjeva i optimizaciji gnojidbe doprinosimo lakšem, bržem i informacijama potkrijepljenim odlukama o budućoj poljoprivrednoj proizvodnji i doprinosimo zaštiti okoliša

Application of Geographic Informatic System (GIS) in land-planing managment has been well known among researchers for over 40 years, and for optimization of fertilization in agriculture it stareted to get recognized in the early 90s. GIS modeling in agriculture helps to identify site specific distribution of a certain charachteristic, and by creating theme maps which are associated with a database, you create a visual display of numerical information for a ceratin field site. Databases used in GIS modeling for sustainable crop selection and fertilizing optimization consists of records on agrochemical analysis of the soil both previous and current, previous crops, previous fertilizing recommendations and previous application of fertilizers. The database is adapted to the needs of modeling and objectivities of the research. In this research GIS modeling in sustainable crop selection and optimization of fertilization, combined the existing database of the project AGRI-CONTO-CLEEN, support systems in decision making (DSS), and the expertise of agronomists during field investigations. The aim of this study was to determine and visualy display needs for fertilization and liming on the plots Vinogradci and Berak, and use these results to choose the most suitable crop for cultivation on these plots, taking into account that these are two different soil types, acidic and alkaline. GIS modeling identified needs for liming on both farms and fertilizer recommendations as well as the need for organic fertilization on both farms in order to rationalize the cost of fertilizers and improve the soil quality, particularly on the Vinogradci farm. Also, planning crop production that is tolerant to low pH reaction of the soil, lowers the costs of liming as well. GIS modeling in sustainable crop selection and optimization of fertilization contribute to easier, faster and more informed decisions for the future agricultural production and helps to reduce negative stress on the environment.
