Abstract
Završni rad je rezultat praćenja procesa sušenja sjemenskog kukuruza provedenog na Poljoprivrednom institutu u Osijeku tijekom 2014. godine. Cilj sušenja je da se vlaga u sjemenu snizi ispod kritične odnosno na nivo sigurnog čuvanja, a to se postiglo metodom upuhivanja zraka određene temperature u sjemensku masu. Zrak na sebe preuzima vlagu iz sjemena i odnosi je, što rezultira sušenjem robe na željenu razinu vlage. Rezultati su bilježeni u tablice i na temelju rezultata su doneseni zaključci o kvaliteti rada sušare. U radu su opisani glavni dijelovi sušare i svrha pojedinih elemenata u postrojenju.

BSc Thesis is result of monitoring of seed corn drying process at Institute of agriculture in Osijek during year 2014. Objective of drying is to lower the moisture in seed below critical level or to secure level of safe storing and that was achieved by blowing air of specific temeperature into seed mass. Air takes over moisture from the seed and takes it away, which results in drying the goods on desired level of moisture. Results are recorded in table and based on results conclusions were made about work quality of dryer.In work, basic parts of dryer were described and purpose of specific elements in facility.
