Abstract
Luk kao povrtlarska kultura ne zauzima velike površine, ali nema ni veći udio u sveukupnoj poljoprivrednoj proizvodnji, no jako je važna namirnica u svakodnevnoj ishrani ljudi. Na PIK Vinkovci proizvodi se luk koji ispunjava zahtjeve tržišta, duži rok trajnosti, veće količine suhe tvari i velike ujednačene glave. Pridržavaju se svih propisanih zakona u doziranju zaštite protiv bolesti i štetnika. Proizvodnju luka kao povrtnu kulturu potrebno je i poticati i proširivati skladišne kapacitete kako bi postigli konkurentnost na širem tržištu. Cilj rada bio je prikazati struktura prihoda i troškova u proizvodnji luka, evidentirati te razvrstati sve prihode i troškove pri proizvodnji utvrditi ekonomske činitelje i analizirati isplativost proizvodnje. Pri istraživanja korišteni su podaci poduzeća PIK Vinkovci. Izračunavanjem ekonomskih pokazatelja uspješnosti proizvodnje utvrđen je kalkulacijama pozitivan financijski rezultat te ekonomična i rentabilna proizvodnja.

Althought onion as vegetable crop doesn't require large land areas, it doesn't give bigger contribution at the entire agricultural production, but it's very important nourishment in the daily nutrition of people. The PIK Vinkovci produces onions which meets the requirements of the market, have longer shelf life, greater amounts of solids and large equal heads. They act in accordance with prescribed norms at dosing protection against disease and pests. For onion production as vegetable ports it's necessary to encourage and also to expand storage capacities in order to achieve competitiveness in the wider market.The purpose was to show revenue structure and costs in the production of onions, to record and classify all income and expenses in the production, to establish economic factors and analyze the profitability of production. For research were used data from PIK Vinkovci company. From calculating the economic performance indicators of production, is determined by calculations positive financial results and economical and efficient production.
