Abstract

Parallel abstract (English)
The aim of the study was to determine the efficacy of the herbicides and their combinations in a recommended and reduced dose on weed control and soybean yield on field trial carried out on fields of family farm „Pažur Anica“ located in village Cerna, county Vukovarskosrijemska, Republic of Croatia. Trial was set by radnom block sistem in three repetition. The most abundant weeds were Ambrosia artemisiifolia L., Sorghum halepense (L.) Pers. and Chenopodium album L. which comprised 46% of the total weed density. The recommended full dose of the herbicide with dimethenamid-p + pendimethalin (pre-em) in combination with bentazone + imazamox (post-em) showed the best weed control. The reduced dose of pre-em herbicide in combination with post-em herbicide, and the application of bentazone + imazamox in the post-em application alone had efficiency lower than 80%. The differences in soybean yields were not statistically significant among the treatments.
