Abstract
Korištenjem uređaja za navigaciju u poljoprivredi, uvelike se može uštedjeti na gorivu, gnojivu, sredstvima za zaštitu i sl. Osim ekonomskih čimbenika, veliki je utjecaj na zaštitu okoliša i smanjenje zagađenja tla i vode. U početnom dijelu ovog diplomskog rada su pojašnjeni pojmovi geografski informacijski sustav (GIS) i GPS, sustav za globalno pozicioniranje. U nastavku su dane informacije o tri različita sustava za navigaciju u poljoprivredi. Tri sustava za navigaciju u poljoprivredi, koji su obrađeni u ovom diplomskom radu, su: G6 Farmnavigator (razvijen od strane AvMap-a), G7 Farmnavigator (razvijen od strane AvMap-a) i CFX – 750 (razvijen od strane Trimble-a). Tri navedena sustava za navigaciju u poljoprivredi su detaljno opisana i uspoređena. Ukazano je na prednosti i nedostatke svakog od navedenih sustava. Testiran je izvoz podataka s G7 Farmnavigatora na osobno računalo.

Using navigation devices in agriculture can significantly save us fuel, fertilizers, pesticides etc. Besides economical factors, there is a great impact on environmant protection and reducing water and soil pollution. In the first part of this graduate thesis, therms geographical information system (GIS) and GPS, global positioning system, are explained. Later on, informations are given about three different navigation systems in agriculture. Three navigation systems in agriculture are studied in this graduate thesis: G6 Farmnavigator (developed by AvMap), G7 Farmnavigator (developed by AvMap) and CFX – 750 (developed by Trimble). Three above mentioned navigation systems in agriculture are described in detail and compared. Advantages and disadvantages of all three mentiond systems are pointed out. Data export, from G7 Farmnavigator to a personal computer, is tested.
