Abstract
U radu je prikazano praćenje bolesti suncokreta na poljoprivrednoj površini veliĉine 22 ha (lokacija Ivanovac) tijekom jedne vegetacijske godine. Od vaţnijih fitopatogenih gljiva zabiljeţena je pojava Septoria helianthi, Alternaria sp., Phomopsis helianthi, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum i Macrophomina phaseolina. S. sclerotiorum se javila na oko 32% biljaka podjednako zahvaćajući korijen i stabljiku suncokreta. Indeks zaraze s P. helianthi prema McKinney-ovom indeksu iznosio je 18,5 što odgovara slaboj zarazi ovim patogenom. M. phaseolina zabiljeţena je tijekom kolovoza kada su temperature bile iznad 30°C. Zdravstvena analiza sjemena suncokreta pokazale je vrlo dobru klijavost i prisutnost Alternaria sp. Biljni uzorci zaraţeni s M. phaseolina obraĊeni su u laboratoriju kako bi se pripremili za ispitivanje utjecaja jedanaest razliĉitih eteriĉnih ulja (anis, menta, gorka naranĉa, ruţmarin, cimet, kim, bor, kadulja, timijan, eugenia, lavanda) na porast micelija. Nakon tri dana eteriĉna ulja timijana, mente, anisa, cimeta i eugenije pokazala su statistiĉki znaĉajna inhibitorna svojstva, dok su ostala eteriĉna ulja u odnosu na kontrolu (voda) imala stimulirajući uĉinak na rast micelija. Nakon šest dana samo je kod timijana zabiljeţeno inhibitorno djelovanje, a nakon devet dana niti kod jednog eteriĉnog ulja nije zabiljeţeno inhibitorno djelovanje na porast micelija.

Monitoring of sunflower's diseases was done on the agricultural area (size 22 hectares) throughout the growing season. As far as important phytopathogenic fungi are concerned there were recorded Septoria helianthi, Alternaria sp., Phomopsis helianthi, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum and Macrophomina phaseolina. S. sclerotiorum occurred on about 32% of sunflower's plants both on the root and on the stem. The disease indeks of P. helianthi was determined using McKinny formula and it was 18.5 which corresponds to poor infection by this pathogen. M. phaseolina was recorded during August when temperatures were above 30°C. Health analysis of sunflower seeds showed a very good germination and the presence of Alternaria sp. Plant samples which were infected with M. phaseolina were processed in the laboratory in order to prepare them testing the impact of 11 different essential oils (anise, mint, bitter orange, rosemary, cinnamon, cumin, pine, sage, thyme, eugenia and lavender) on the growth of mycelium. After three days thyme, mint, anise, cinnamon and eugenia essential oils showed significant inhibitory properties, while other essential oils compared to the control (water) had a stimulating effect on mycelial growth. After six days only thyme essential oil had inhibitory effects, and after nine days none of thee ssential oils had inhibitory effects.
