Abstract
Cilj ovoga rada bio je prikazati pregled proizvodnje šećerne repe u Republici Hrvatskoj za razdoblje od 2000. do 2014. godine s obzirom na vremenske prilike (srednje mjesečne temperature (oC) i srednje mjesečne količine oborina (mm)). Proizvodni rezultati te vremenske prilike razdoblja od 2000. do 2014. godine uspoređeni su s proizvodnim rezultatima te vremenskim prilikama višegodišnjeg prosjeka od 1961. do 1990. godine. Može se zaključiti da su vremenske prilike imale značajan utjecaj na prinos korijena i sadržaj šećera u korijenu šećerne repe te je upravo iz toga razloga 2014. godina bila najbolja što se tiče prinosa korijena, imala je najveći prinos od svih analiziranih godina, on je iznosio 68,5 t/ha, ali sadržaj šećera 2014. godine je bio strašno nizak, 13,30 %, što je ujedno i najniži sadržaj šećera od svih analiziranih godina. 2011. godina je bila najbolja s obzirom na sadržaj šećera, odnosno imala je najveći sadržaj šećera u korijenu od svih analiziranih godina, iznosio je 16,21 %. Usporedbom višegodišnjeg prosjeka od 1961. do 1990. godine i prosjeka od 2000. do 2014. godine može se vidjeti da su površine povađene šećerne repe bile gotovo jednake, prinos korijena od 2000. do 2014. godine bio je veći za 6,6 t/ha od višegodišnjeg prosjeka od 1961. do 1990. godine, a sadržaj šećera je bio puno bolji tijekom višegodišnjeg prosjeka od 1961. do 1990. godine, iznosio je 15,46 %. Sušne godine su bile: 2000., 2003., 2007., 2009., 2011., 2012., 2013. godina. Iznad prosječno vlažne godine su bile: 2005., 2010. i 2014. godina. Prinosi korijena kretali su se od 23,8 t/ha (2003.g.) do 68,5 t/ha (2014.g.) Najbolji prinosi korijena: 2008.g. (56,9 t/ha) i 2014.g. (68,5 t/ha), a najgori prinosi korijena su bili 2003.g. (23,8t/ha) i 2000.g. (37,5 t/ha). Sadržaj šećera u korijenu kretao se je od 13,30 (2014.g.) do 16,21 % (2011.g.). Najbolje digestije bile su 2008.g. (16,15%) i 2011.g. (16,21%).

The aim of this study was to present an overview of sugar beet production in Croatia for the period from 2000 to 2014 considering the weather conditions (mean monthly temperatures (C) and mean monthly rainfall (mm)). The production results and the weather conditions from 2000 to 2014 were compared with the production results and the weather conditions of the perennial average from 1961 to 1990. It can be concluded that the weather conditions had a significant effect on root yield and on the sugar content in the roots of sugar beet. For this reason, 2014 was the best considering root yield, it had the biggest yield among analyzed years, which was 68.5 t / ha, but the sugar content in 2014 was terribly low, 13.30%, which is also the lowest sugar content among analyzed years. 2011 was the best considering the sugar content, it had the highest root sugar content among analyzed years, which was 16.21%. Comparing the perennial average from 1961 to 1990 and the average from 2000 to 2014, it is obvious that the surfaces of harvested sugar beet were almost equal. Root yield from 2000 to 2014 was higher for 6.6 t / ha than the perennial average from 1961 to 1990 and sugar content was much better during the perennial average from 1961 to 1990, 15.46%. Dry years were 2000, 2003, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013. Above-average wet years were 2005, 2010 and 2014. Root yields ranged from 23.8 t/ha (2003.g.) to 68,5 t/ha (2014.g.). The best yields were in 2008 (56,9 t/ha) and 2014 (68,5 t/ha), and the worst in 2000 (37,5 t/ha) and 2003 (23,8t/ha). The sugar content in the root ranged from 13.30 (2014) to 16.21% (2011). The best digestions were in 2008 (16,15%) and in 2011 (16,21%).
