Abstract
Istraživanje je rađeno na pokušalištu Poljoprivrednog instituta u Osijeku tijekom vegetacijske sezone 2014. godine. Pomoću metode mjerenja sadržaja vode u tlu, a pomoću TDR Field Scout 300 Soil Moisture Meter uređaja. Dobivene vrijednosti korištene su u svrhu planiranja navodnjavanja kukuruza kako bi se pratio sadržaj vode te nadoknadio nedostatak vode. Planirano je održavati sadržaj vode u tlu na dvije razine: A2 – sadržaj vode u tlu se kreće od 60% do 100% poljskog vodnog kapaciteta (PVK) i A3 – sadržaj vode u tlu se kreće od 80% do 100% PVK. A1 varijanta predstavlja suho ratarenje odnosno, na tim parcelama nije navodnjavanje. Rezultati provedenog istraživanja pokazali su da je TDR 300 uređaj vrlo praktičan, učinkovit i pouzdan uređaj za praćenje trenutnoga (Trv) sadržaja vode u tlu. Preporuka je učiniti prethodno baždarenje za tip tla na kojemu se uzgaja kultura ili vrši istraživanje. Vrijednosti su se znatno razlikovale po varijantama navodnjavanja te obzirom na količinu oborine.

Parallel abstract (English)
The research was conducted at the Agricultural Institute of Osijek during the growing season 2014. Soil moisture was measured with direct in situ method. Measurements were carried out using the Field Scout TDR 300 Soil Moisture Meter device. The values were used to plan the irrigation of corn in order to find out the soil water content and thus compensate for the deficiency. The plan is to maintain the water content in the soil at two levels: A2 - the soil water content ranges from 60% to 100% of field water capacity (FWC) and A3 - the soil water content ranges from 80% to 100% FWC. A1 variant is the dry farming, on these plots irrigation was not conducted. Results of the study showed that the TDR 300 is very practical, efficient and reliable device for monitoring of soil water content. It is recommended to make a calibration for specific soil type. The results were significantly influenced by irrigation treatment (A2 and A3) and regarding to amount of rainfall.
