Abstract
Cilj istraţivanja bio je ispitati utjecaj rane defolijacije na kvantitativne parametre: masa grozda, prirod po biljci, broj grozdova po biljci te kvalitativne : sdrţaj šećera u moštu i ukupnu kiselost na kultivaru Cabernet sauvignon. Istraţivanje je provedeno tijekom 2013.godine u vinogradima vinarije obitelji Szabo u Karancu, podregija Podunavlje, vinogroje Baranja. Pokus je postavljen po potpuno slučajnom planu u tri ponavljanja s tri varijante. Prvu varijantu čini uklanjanje 3 lista po mladici, druga varijanta je 6 listova po mladici te kontrola bez uklanjanja listova. Defolijacija je izvršena prije početka cvatnje. Svi rezultati su statistički obraĎeni analizom varijance, a dobivene razlike nisu statistički značajne.

Parallel abstract (English)
The aim of this study research was to investigate the influence of early defoliation on quantitative parameters: mass of grapes, yield per plant, number of grapes per plant and qualitative: the sugar and acidity in must on the cv. Cabernet Sauvignon. The study was conducted during 2013 in the vineyards of the winery family Szabo in Karanac, sub regions winegrowing Baranja. The experiment was conducted using the randomized block design based on three replications that included three variants. The first variant makes the removal of 3 leaves per shoot, the second option is 6 leaves per shoot and control without removing the leaves. Defoliation was carried out before flowering. All results were statistically analyzed using analysis of variance, and these differences were not statistically significant.
