Abstract
Pšenica je samooplodna biljka te jedna od najznačajnijih žitarica na svijetu te je stoga za očuvanje sigurnosti hrane potrebno je razviti nove tehnologije za povećanje sigurnosti proizvodnje žitarica. Pšenica kao takva sadrži ogroman potencijal za povećanje prinosa i mogućnošću križanja te s time doprinosi razvoju novih tehnologija. Prema tome, proizvodnja sjemenske pšenice treba biti pod nadzorom i kontrolom stručnjaka. Agrotehnika u proizvodnji sjemenske pšenice je slična agrotehnici proizvodnje pšenice za prehranu što znači da sadrži plodored, obradu tla i gnojidbu. Razlika je u tome što je kod sjemenske pšenice bitno imati prostornu razliku između sorata da ne bi došlo do kontaminacije i urušavanja čistoće usjeva. Također, pri sjetvi potrebno je ostaviti prostora za neometanu kontrolu usjeva (aprobacija) te moguće čupanje nepoželjnih biljaka. Za razliku od pšenice za prehranu, kod sjemenske pšenice se sije rijeđi sklop, osim kod proizvodnje certificiranog sjemena. Kod proizvodnje sjemenske pšenice dodatnu pozornost potrebno je obratiti na čistoću same mehanizacije zbog moguće kontaminacije drugim nepoželjni sjemenom i nečistoćama. Žetva ranijih generacija sjemena se obavlja posebnim kombajnima, dok žetva certificiranog i osnovnog sjemena komercijalnim kombajnima. Pri žetvi treba pripaziti na čistoću mehanizacije, vlažnosti sjemena i mehanička oštećenja sjemena.

Wheat is inbred plant and one of the most important cereals in the world and therefore to preserve food security it is necessary to develop new technologies to increase the safety of cereal. Wheat as such has enormous potential to increase yields and the possibility of crossing and with that contributes to the development of new technologies. Thus, the production of wheat seeds should be supervised and controlled by experts. Agricultural engineering in the production of wheat seeds is similar agricultural management of wheat for human consumption, which means that it contains crop rotation, tillage and fertilization. The difference is that the wheat seeds are essential to have a spatial difference between cultivars in order to avoid contamination and purity crop collapsing. Also, when planting, it is necessary to leave room for smooth control of crops (approbation) and possible pulling unwanted plants. Unlike wheat for human consumption, with wheat seeds are sown rarer circuit, except for the production of certified seed. In the production of seed wheat additional attention should be paid to the cleanliness of their own machines because of possible contamination with other undesirable seeds and impurities. Harvesting of earlier generations of seed is done by special combines, while the harvest of certified and basic seeds to commercial harvesters. When harvesting, should pay attention to the cleanliness of machinery, seed moisture and mechanical damage of seeds.
