Abstract
Istraživanje je provedeno u cilju utvrđivanja alelopatskog utjecaja vodenih ekstrakata biljnih vrsta iz porodice Polygonaceae na salatu. U pokusu su ispitivani vodeni ekstrakti od suhih listova i stabljike dvornika poponca (Fallopia convolvulus), ptičjeg dvornika (Polygonum aviculare) i kiseličastog dvornika (P. lapathifolium) u tri različite koncentracije (1, 5 i 10%). Rezultati su pokazali podjednak inhibitorni učinak ispitivanih biljnih vrsta iz porodice Polygonaceae na klijavost sjemena salate. Duljina korijena i izdanka te svježa masa klijanaca u prosjeku su bile najviše inhibirane u tretmanu s ekstraktima F. convolvulus. Biljni dijelovi razlikovali su se u svom alelopatskom potencijalu ovisno o biljnoj vrsti i mjerenom parametru.

The study was conducted in order to determine the allelopathic effect of water extracts from the plant species from the family Polygonaceae on lettuce. Water extracts from dried leaves and stems of black bindweed (Fallopia convolvulus), prostrate knotweed (Polygonum aviculare) and pale persicaria (P. lapathifolium) at three different concentrations (1, 5 and 10%) were examined. The results showed an equal inhibitory effect of the plant species of the family Polygonaceae on the germination of lettuce. On average, the length of root and shoot and the fresh weight of the seedlings were the most inhibited in treatment with extracts of F. convolvulus. Plant parts differed in their allelopathic potential depending on the plant species and the measured parameter.
