Abstract
Ruralni turizam je veliko potencijalno tržište jer se pružaju velike mogućnosti .Na ruralnom području koji čini više od 90 posto površine Republike Hrvatske, živi oko 50 posto njenih stanovnika koji su izravno ili neizravno vezani za poljoprivredu. U ovom radu bit će riječi o svim oblicima ruralnog turizma, koji će se detaljno objasniti. Zatim je opisan mediteranski turizam koji se još uvijek bazira na ponudi „more i sunce“. Poslije mediteranskog turizma prikazana je Strategija Hrvatskog turizma i Europski fondovi koji bi mogli unaprijediti i poboljšati turističku ponudu Republike Hrvatske. Na kraju je obrađena promidžba ruralnog i mediteranskog turizma koja ukazuje na probleme i moguća rješenja koja bi se mogla primijeniti u budućnosti

Rural tourism is a large potential market because they offer great opportunities .In rural area which makes up more than 90 percent of the Croatian Republic , has about 50 percent of its residents who are directly or indirectly related to poljoprivredu.U this paper will be concerned with all aspects of rural tourism , which will be explained in detail . Then described Mediterranean tourism which is still based on the offer " sun and sea " . After the Mediterranean tourism is presented strategy of Croatian tourism and European funds that could improve and enhance the tourism offer of the Republic of Hrvatske.Na end is covered promotion of rural and coastal tourism , which points out the problems and possible solutions that could be applied in the future
