Abstract
Cilj istraživanja bio je utvrditi alelopatski utjecaj vodenih ekstrakata pripremljenih od svježih listova vrste Aloe vera na klijavost i rast pšenice, ječma, soje i uljne bundeve. Utjecaj vodenih ekstrakata u koncentracijama od 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% i 10%, procijenjen je u pokusima u Petrijevim zdjelicama. Korištene koncentracije su imale različiti utjecaj na ispitivane kulture. Povećanjem koncentracije u pravilu se i povećavao alelopatski utjecaj, pa tako su kod ječma i soje u pravilu najviše koncentracije imale najveći alelopatski utjecaj, dok su s druge strane niže koncentracije djelovale pozitivno. Kao najtolerantnija se pokazala pšenica, dok su ekstrakti u prosjeku u najvećoj mjeri negativno utjecali na ječam. Primjerice, klijavost i svježa masa klijanaca ječma bili su smanjeni u prosjeku za preko 20%. Niti jedna koncentracija nije značajno utjecala na klijavost i rast pšenice, dok se povećanjem koncentracije povećao i pozitivni utjecaj na uljnu bundevu

The aim of research was to determine allelopathic effect of water extracts prepared from fresh leaves of Aloe vera on germination and growth of wheat, barley, soybean and oil pumpkin. The effect of water extracts in concentrations of 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% and 10% was evaluated in experiments conducted in Petri dishes. The applied concentrations had different effects on crops. Allelopathic effect increased by increasing the concentration, so that the highest concentration had the highest effect on barley and soybean, and on the other hand the lower concentrations had positive effect. The most tolerant crop was wheat, while the extracts mainly negatively affected barley which seed germination and fresh weight of were reduced by an average of over 20%. None of applied concentrations significantly affected germination and growth of wheat, while the positive affect on oil pumpkin increased by concentration increase.
