Abstract
Istraživanje kontaminacije zrna kukuruza i kukuruzne silaže aflatoksinima je provedeno 2015. godine u laboratoriju Biotech u Slavonskom Brodu na HPLC uređaju. U niti jednom uzorku nisu utvrđene nedopuštene količine aflatoksina. Količina sintetiziranog aflatoksina ovisi o nizu čimbenika kao što su temperatura zraka, količine oborina i vlaga zraka, količina inokuluma i slično. S obzirom da je vegetacijska godina 2015. bila ekstremno vruća i većim dijelom sušna zaključujemo da je to jedan od razloga vrlo slabog razvoja Aspergillus vrsta na kukuruzu, a time i slabe kontaminacije aflatoksinima. Aflatoksini su jedni od najtoksičniji mikotoksini. Tvore ih sojevi plijesni roda Aspergillus, a temperatura pogodna za njihov rast je od 26 do 38° C te sadržaj vlage supstrata veći od 18 %. Aflatoksini vidljivi su UV- spektru pri duljini od 365 nm kao prirodni fluorescirajući spojevi, termostabilni su, topljivi su u organskim otapalima, vrlo su osjetljivi su na kisele i alkalne otopine, a u vodi se gotovo ne tope.

The research about contamination of maize grain and corn silage aflatoxin was conducted in 2015. at biotech laboratory in Slavonski Brod, using the HPLC device. None of the samples showed no undue amounts of aflatoxin.The amount of synthesized aflatoxin depends on many factors such as air temperature, the amount of rainfall and humidity, the amount of inoculum etc. Since the vegetation year 2015. was extremely hot and mostly dry I can conclude that this is one of the reasons of the poor development of Aspergillus type on corn, and thereby low aflatoxin contamination.Aflatoxins are one of the most toxic mycotoxins. Formed by mold strains of the genus Aspergillus, a temperature suitable for their growth is from 26 to 38 ° C, and substrate humidity greater than 18%. Aflatoxins are visible to UV spectrum at a length of 365 nm as a natural fluorescent compounds. They are thermostable, soluble in organic solvents, very sensitive to acidic and alkaline solutions, and in water they almost don`t melt.
