Abstract
Zrno soje sadrži 35-50% bjelančevina te 18-24 % ulja te radi toga prepoznata kao jedna od najznačajnijih bjelančevinastih i uljnih kultura u Svijetu jednako kao i na poljoprivrednim površinama Republike Hrvatske. U ovom završnom radu pored osnovne građe sojine biljke, agroekoloških uvjeta proizvodnje prikazani su urodi zrna soje u razdoblju od 2000. do 2015. godine, a samim time i potreba za primjenom agrotehničke mjere navodnjavanja. Sve učestalijom pojavom sušnih godina urodi zrna soje znatno variraju u odnosu na prosjek. U spomenutom razdoblju prosječan urod zrna soje na području Republike Hrvatske bio je 2,47 t/ha. Urod zrna soje bio je u rasponu od 1,8 t/ha 2012. godine do 3 t/ha 2008. godine. Najveća odstupanja od prosjeka bila su tijekom godina kada je količina oborina bila manja od višegodišnjeg prosjeka: -23,1% (2007.), -27,1 (2012.) i -10,9% (2009.). Smanjenje uroda potvrđuje kako je uvođenje agrotehničke mjere navodnjavanja opravdana mjera kojom bi se nadoknadio nedostatak oborina tijekom sušnih mjeseci i na taj način smanjilo variranje uroda zrna soje.

Soybean grain provides valuable nutrients: 35-50% proteins, 18-24% oil. Because of nutritional composition it stands out as one of the most important oilseed in the world, as well as in Republic of Croatia. This paper analyses the main characteristics of soybean plant, the agrotechnical measures and yield of soybean grain during fifteen years. Special attention is given to the analysis of weather condition (air temperatures and rainfall amount) as well as need for irrigation of soybean. The grain yield of soybean ranged from 1.8 t/ha (2012) to 3 t/ha (2008). Considerably lower yields were in years: -23.1% (2007), -27.1 (2012) and -10.9% (2009).Those are the years with the lack of rainfall and air temperatures above the long term average which confirms the necessity for irrigation practice in order to restore the lack of water and to provide high yield of soybean grain.
