Abstract
Skladištenje ratarskih kultura predstavlja završni cilj u proizvodnji ratarskih kultura. Prilikom skladištenja dolazi do fizioloških procesa, prilikom kojih može doći do značajnih gubitaka uskladištene mase.

Storage of crops is the final goal in the production of crops. Physiological processes which can cause significant reductions in the mass of the stored goods occur during storage. In this research we monitored the condition of stored grains (corn, wheat, barley, and triticale) during the period of five months, while they were stored in the attic space at the Family Agricultural Farm Nemet Kate. Temperature, moisture, and hectolitre weight of the samples were measured, as well as the presence of pests. After the inspection, a significant number of pests were found in most of the samples, but only a sporadic presence of pests was found in the corn samples. The large number of pests caused an increase in the moisture of the grains, and the hectolitre weight was lower due to the intensive feeding of the pests, also, the hectolitre weight of corn was above the minimum standard of quality for corn (62 kg hl-1). Desinsection was conducted due to the large number of pests. In order to ensure better storage conditions for new goods, we recommend desinsection of empty storage spaces, and after the stock was stored, monitoring of product moisture and temperature, as well as the presence of pests, through continuous sampling.
