Abstract
Cilj istraživanja bio je ispitati energiju klijanja i klijavost sjemena damašćanske crnjike (Nigella damascena L.) i različka (Centaurea cyanus L.) u laboratorijskim uvjetima te ih usporediti s podatcima koji se nalaze na deklaraciji sjemena. Istraživanje je provedeno 2016. godine u Laboratoriju za povrćarsvo, cvjećarstvo, ljekovito, začinsko i aromatično bilje na Poljoprivrednom fakultetu u Osijeku. Kao materijal je korišteno netretirano sjeme cvjetnih vrsta damašćanske crnjike (Nigella damascena L.) i različka (Centaurea cyanus L.). Pokus je postavljen u tri ponavljanja za pojedini tretman osvjetljenja te pojedinu cvjetnu vrstu u klima komoru na plavo i bijelo svjetlo na režim 12 h "dan", 12 h "noć" na temperaturi 23 ± 1 ºC. Klijavost damašćanske crnjike u laboratorijskim ispitivanjima je iznosila u prosjeku 40,46%. Ukupna prosječna klijavost različka iznosila je 32,76%. Bolja energija klijanja i klijavost za obje cvjetne vrste postignuta je na bijelom svjetlu. Promjena svjetlosti nije značajno utjecala na masu klijanaca damašćanske crnjike dok je kod dužine korijena i stabljike uočena veća razlika. Kod različka je uočena promjena mase klijanaca, dužina korijena i stabljike pri različitom svjetlu . Veća masa klijanaca, dužina korijena te dužina stabljike za obje cvjetne vrste zabilježena je na bijelom svjetlu.

The aim of this study was to examine germination energy and seed germination of Nigella damascena L. and Centaurea cyanus L. in the laboratory conditions and compare them with the data stored on the label of the seed. Research was conducted in 2016 at the Laboratory of vegetable, floriculture, medicinal, spice and aromatic plants at Faculty of Agriculture in Osijek. Used materials were untreated seeds of flower species Nigella damascena L. and Centaurea cyanus L. The experiment was set in three replicates of each light treatmant and for each flower type in the growth chamber on blue and white light on the mode 12h “day”, 12h “night” at 23±1 °C. Germination of Nigella damascena L. in laboratory tests was around 40,46%. The total average germination of Centaurea cyanus L. was 32,76%. Better germination energy and germination of both studied flower species was accomplished in white light. Change of lights didn’t significantly affect seeding mass of Nigella damascena L. unlike root and stem length where significant difference was noticed. Differences in seedling mass, root and stem length of Centaurea cyanus L. were significant in different lights. Higher seedling mass, root and stem length for both flower species were recorded in white light.
