Abstract
Rajĉica se uzgaja radi ploda. Ima vrlo visoku hranidbenu vrijednost a zbog visokog sadrţaja likopena njena konzumacija u svjeţem ili preraĊenom obliku moţe pomoći u prevenciji razliĉitih bolesti. Uzgaja se na otvorenom ili u zaštićenom prostoru u tlu ili hidroponu. Cilj istraţivanja je bio utvrditi rast i razvoj te komponente prinosa rajĉice pod utjecajem dodatnog LED osvjetljenja. U pokusu je korišten hibrid rajĉice Amaneta F1 u dvije varijante po 40 biljaka. Jedna varijanta je bila dodatno osvjetljena dok druga nije. Istraţivanjem su bile obuhvaćene sljedeće komponente: promjer stabljike, duţina stabljike, prinos na prve tri etaţe i prosjeĉna masa ploda. Rezultatima pokusa utvrĊen je bolji razvoj i veći prinos kod biljaka koje su bile pod utjecajem dodatnog LED osvjetljenja.

Tomatoes are grown for fruit. It has a very high nutritional value due to its high content of lycopene, consumption in fresh or processed form can help prevent various diseases. It is grown outdoors or in greenhouses in soil or hydroponics. The objective of this research was to determine the growth and development and yield components of tomatoes affected by additional LED lighting. In the experiment was used hybrid tomatoes Amaneta F1 in two variants per 40 plants. One variant was further illuminated while the other is not. The survey covered the following components: stem diameter, stem length, yield on the first three floral branches and the average fruit weight. The results of the experiment determined the development of better and higher yield in plants that were affected by the additional LED lighting.
