Abstract
Cilj ovog rada bio je prikazati utjecaj abiotskih čimbenika na kukce te na koji način ti čimbenici utječu na njihov razvoj i opstanak u prirodi. Kukci su ţivotinje koje u svijetu postoje više od milijun godina prije čovjeka i determinirano ih je više od milijun vrsta. Kukci nemaju razvijenu svijest i njihovo ponašanje temelji se na taksijama i instiktima. Taksije su pokretne reakcije nekih organizama ili stanica na vanjske podraţaje, u ovom slučaju čimbenike okoline. To su reakcije na vanjske i unutrašnje podraţaje. U prirodi se javljaju abiotski i biotski čimbenici koji imaju utjecaj na sav ţivi svijet. Svi ti čimbenici djeluju zajednički i meĎusobno su povezani. Abiotski ili neţivi obuhvaćaju čimbenike kao što su: temperatura, svijetlo, vlaga i tlo. Temperatura je jedan od najvaţnijih abiotskih čimbenika koji utječe na kukce jer imaju promjenjivu tjelesnu temperaturu. Vlaţnost je, uz temperaturu, vaţan faktor za odvijanje fizioloških procesa u tijelu kukaca. Prema potrebama za vlaţnošću, kukci se dijele na hidrofilne, mezofilne i kserofilne. Svjetlost i tlo takoĎer imaju velik utjecaj na razvoj i opstanak kukaca u prirodi.

A goal of my work was ti show an influence of abiotic factors on insects and to show a way how they affect on their development and survival in nature. Insects are animals which exist more than million years before humans and are determinated more than million species of them. Insects have not developed a sense and their behavior is based on the taxis and instincts. Taxis are movable reactions of some organisms or cells on the external stimulations, in this case, environmental factors. These are reactions on the external and internal stimulations.In nature occur abiotic and biotic factors which affect all living world. All those factors work together and are connected to one another. Abiotic or inanimate factors include factors such as temperature, light, humidity and soil. Temperature is one of the most important abiotic factors that affect insects since they have changeable body temperature. Humidity is, together with temperature an other important factor for physiological processes in insects body. According to requirements for humidity, insects are divided into hydrophilic, mesophilic and kserophilic. Light and soil also have a big influence on insects development and survival in nature.
