Abstract
U ovom radu definiran je ruralni turizam i njegova zastupljenost u RH, takoĊer je objašnjena uloga, znaĉaj i funkcija gastro ponude. Provedena je i anketa u kojoj smo potvrdili hipoteze da je potrošaĉima prilikom kupnje vaţno da prehrambeni proizvod ima minimalno jednu autohtonu oznaku, dok je gostima koji obilaze ruralna-turistiĉka odredišta bitno da hrana koja im je ponuĊena nije industrijske proizvodnje nego da je proizvedena na samom odredištu ili u obliţnjim OPG-ima, takoĊer korisnici ruralnog turizma pridodaju veliki znaĉaj i ulogu gastro ponude u ruralnom turizmu, jer tako ruralna-turistiĉka odredišta postaju jedinstvena te na taj naĉin privlaĉe nove/stare goste. Gastronomija i ruralni turizam su dvije poveznice koje ne idu jedna bez druge. Ruralnim turizmom pokušavamo povezati ĉovjeka s prirodom, odvojiti ga od svakodnevice, a gastronomija upotpunjuje cjelokupno iskustvo sa svojim lokalno poznatim specijalitetima.

In this work wedefine the rural tourism and its representationin the Republic of Croatia, we also explain the role, importance and function of gastronomy. Conducted a survey in which we confirmed the hypothesis that to consumers is important when purchasing the food that product has at least one authentic mark, while guests who visit rural tourism destinations that food is not industrial production but produced at the destination or in the nearby family farm, also users of rural tourism adds to the great importance and role of gastronomy in rural tourism, that way rural tourism destinations become unique and thus attrac tnew / old guests. Gastronomy and rural tourism are two links that do not go without each other. Rural tourism are trying to connect man with nature, to separate it from every day life and gastronomy complements the overall experience with their locally known specialties.
