Abstract
Istraživanje je provedeno u cilju utvrđivanja alelopatskog utjecaja vodenih ekstrakata od biljne mase vrsta iz porodice Asteraceae na klijavost i početni rast salate. Vodeni ekstrakti od suhih biljnih dijelova livadne zečine (Centaurea jacea L.), poljskog osjaka (Cirsium arvense (L.) Scop.), kanadske hudoljetnice (Conyza canadensis (L.) Cronq.), jednogodišnje krasolike (Erigeron annuus (L.) Pers.), zeljastog ostaka (Sonchus oleraceus L.) i običnog vratića (Tanacetum vulgare L.) u koncentraciji od 5% ispitani su u pokusima u Petrijevim zdjelicama. Rezultati su pokazali da je alelopatski potencijal ovisio o biljnoj vrsti i biljnom dijelu. Najveći negativni utjecaj zabilježen je u tretmanu s ekstraktom lista vrste E. annuus koji je klijavost i rast klijanaca smanjio za 100%. Značajan inhibitorni utjecaj zabilježen je u prosjeku i s ekstraktima S. oleraceus te T. vulgare

The study was conducted in order to determine the allelopathic effect of water extracts from plant biomass of Asteraceae family species on germination and initial growth of lettuce. Water extracts from dry plant parts of brown knapweed (Centaurea jacea L.), creeping thistle (Cirsium arvense (L.) Scop.), Canadian horseweed (Conyza canadensis (L.) Cronq.), annual fleabane (Erigeron annuus (L.) Pers.), common sow thistle (Sonchus oleraceus L.), common tansy (Tanacetum vulgare L.) in concentration of 5% were evaluated in Petri dish experiment. The results showed that the allelopathic potential depended on the plant species and plant parts. The highest negative effect was recorded in the treatment with the leaf extract of E. annuus which reduced the germination and seedling growth for 100%. A significant inhibitory effect was recorded on the average recorded with the extracts from S. oleraceus and T. vulgare.
