Abstract
Mnogobrojnim istraživanjima su dokazivani pozitivni učinci niskih koncentracija H2S na fiziološki odgovor kod biljaka u uvjetima različitih tipova abiotskog stresa. Djelovanje NaHS kao donora H2S na biljke se ispituje već dugih niz godina. U završnom radu ispitivan je utjecaj otopina različitih koncentracija NaHS (0, 50, 100, 200 i 500 mM) apliciranih u supstrat na biljke paprike (Capsicum annuum L.) uzgajane pri 150 mM NaCl. U prosjeku za obje varijante solnog stresa primijenjeni tretmani NaHS nisu značajno djelovali na sadržaj klorofila dok je najviša koncentracija NaHS značajno smanjila sadržaj karotenoida. 50 i 100 mM NaHS značajno je smanjilo lipidnu peroksidaciju u uvjetima solnog stresa. NaHS je smanjio sadržaj prolina u listovima paprike u obje varijante solnog stresa. Pri tretmanima s 50 i 100 mM NaHS površine listova kod biljaka na stresu i kontrole se nisu značajno razlikovale. Dobiveni rezultati upućuju na mogući pozitivni učinak niskih koncentracija H2S u uvjetima solnog stresa na biljke paprike.

Numerous researches have proven the positive effects of low H2S concentrations on the physiological plant response in the conditions of various types of abiotic stress. The effect of donor NaHS on plants has been examined over the course of many years. This final thesis shows ways in which solutions of various NaHS concentrations (0, 50, 100, 200 i 500 mM) affect paprika plant (Capsicum annuum L.) supstrate. The plant has been cultivated at 150mM NaCl. On average, in both variants of NaCl stress, clorophyll contents were virtually unaffected by the applied NaHS treatments, whereas the highest NaHS concentration has significantly reduced the carotenoid content. 50 and 100 mM NaHS have significantly reduced the lipid peroxidation in the conditions of NaCl stress. In the case of 50 and 100 mM NaHS treatments, no obvious distinction was visible on the leaf surfaces of the NaCl-stressed plants and those of the control samples. The obtained results could be an indication of the positive effect of low H2S concentrations on the NaCl-stressed paprika plants
