Abstract

Croatia is abundant in agricultural areas and to the most part in the conventional production, while a smaller part in organic production. Every day in creases the number of environmental areas, which are all mainly in orchards and vineyards. The most common reasons for the slow development of organic farming is the uncertainty of entrepreneurs in such production, a large financial investment, a large amount of human labor. It is belive that the grape vines continental region Thracians brought from Asia Minor, while the coastal region Emeritus Greeks and Phoenicians. In each region unter the autochthonous variety of wine, which is specific to that part of the Croatian. Very important is the production itself as conventional as well as environmental, process of production to follow from the beginning, which means that it is very important to monitor the vines of themselves preparing the ground for it is plating, protection, care, harvesting, storing grape, wine production, filling in bottles, labeling and sealing plugs. The production is not significantly different , except that the organic production is very important to monitor the environmental legal provisions and respect the rules concerning the protection and the production itself. Organic production is 30% more expensive than the conventional meaning that the more expensive the final product. Primarily it is more expensive because of the natural protection, grater amounts of manual labor, ecological packaging and labels. In this paper I cited some of organic producers in the Republic of Croatia. It is important to emphasize that in organic viticulture used to protect manure, grass, tea, dairy, products ( whey ), cooper and sulfur in certain quantities.
